This is a simple recipe that turns boring Garbanzo beans in to really delicious hamburger patty substitutes.

Ingredients
  • 2Cans Cans Garbanzo Beans
  • 0.33cup Water
  • 2tsp Lemon juice, raw
  • 2cup Break crumbs
  • 2tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1tsp Onion powder
  • 1tsp Salt
  • 1Tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 2Large Eggs
  • 1Dash Red Pepper Flakes
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees
  2. Oil a sheet pan or use place your non-stick mats
  3. Drain the Garbanzo beans and chop finely in a food processor
  4. Combine the rest of the ingredients and mix
  5. Portion out evenly onto your sheet pan, then press flat into patties
  6. Bake for ~12 minutes then turn and bake for about 12 minutes more

If you portion the mix out with a 1/3 cup portions will yield 12 medium sized patties.
