When I saw the ACE Mango Cider in the store, I knew I had to give it a try.
The reality is that I tend to prefer beer to cider, but not all ciders are great or even good.
Now I love the pineapple cider that they make, so I figured I had to give the ACE Mango Cider a fair shot.
In their own words:
“Is a blend of fresh Mango Juices and a tart, Semi-Dry Apple Cider. The best tasting Mangoes are grown near the equator in hot and humid climates, so we went straight to the source: Ecuador! You are tasting an important piece of ACE’s Exotic Fruit Cider range. Enjoy!”
I brought some home and cracked one open. While I can’t say I love it, it isn’t horrible as ciders go. I don’t feel like the mango flavor comes through much and it smells a bit like fruit baby food. Drinkable, yes. Don’t love it though, so I’ll stick with their pineapple cider.
